Are PRIN treatments pregnancy and breastfeeding safe?

Yes! PRIN facials are pregnancy and breastfeeding safe, from both the ingredients and the compression effect.

What is a PRIN treatment? What does the PRIN mask do?

The PRIN facial masks are often referred to as tightening masks, firming masks, or contouring masks. PRIN FLOW is a form of compression therapy. The graduated downward pressure on the skin increases blood flow by compressing the surface veins, arteries and muscles, they force circulating blood through narrower channels. This results in increased detoxification and nutrient delivery - optimising skin health.

What skin conditions is the PRIN FLOW Mask good for?

Problematic skin conditions such as acne, scarring, congestion, as well premature ageing. It also gives a long lasting glow halo.

Can I treat myself to a PRIN facial before an event?

Maybe. We have never seen a glowier skin than one straight after a PRIN facial treatment, however, it is a functional mask - it creates movement within your skin. So if you have congestion, it can  assist in moving it out of the skin - which is great - but if it’s right before an event, the timing might not be the best.

How do you mix the PRIN FLOW mask?

Best practice (pro style) is to measure the powder using a level tablespoon, and gradually adding the activator and mix for a nice even consistency. Alternatively you can add level amounts of the FLOW Powder (larger spoon) and FLOW Activator (smaller spoon) into a bowl.

Mix immediately using the PRIN facial brush until a smooth paste forms. To apply, start at the collarbone and work in upward strokes, covering the front and sides of the neck, behind the ears and continue with outward strokes across the face, avoiding the eyelids and mouth.

Are the PRIN Facial Masks Vegan?

No. Both the PRIN Lymphatic Therapy (professional) and PRIN FLOW (mask at home) powders contain albumen which is derived from egg. Note that we source certified free range which is in line with our founders own consumption choices.

Who shouldn’t have a PRIN mask?

The PRIN FLOW mask optimises the body's own natural functions - not altering them. For this reason it is safe for almost everyone. We do show caution with the following conditions - Eczema, and Dermatitis during a flare up as the ingredients can be too active on a compromised skin barrier.

Can I do a PRIN FLOW Facial Mask with a beard/ facial hair?

You can, but it can be a pain to remove depending on the length of the hair. You can apply the mask directly onto facial hair as it will be very difficult to remove. We recommend applying the mask above and below the beard depending on the area it covers, or removing via a shower immediately after the mask for an easy removal.

What’s the difference between the professional facial mask, PRIN Lymphatic Therapy, and the PRIN FLOW Facial Mask?

Aside from the absolute dreaminess of having the full facial experience, the main difference is that the professional mask, Lymphatic Therapy, is a more intense treatment and has more active ingredients.
